I was crazy about the Caroline in the city show! I would try to record each episode that I could, on vhs. I even wrote to the show, and suggested a scenario that they ended up having a similar scene in the show, plus they sent me an autographed photo of the cast, which thrilled me to death,, and I treasured it! I have always loved to draw cartoons, and I related to Caroline. Already a big fan of Lea, I completely loved everything about the show. I hated how the producers left the series unresolved. I bought the complete series this month, on line, from Walmart. It was around $117. for the complete four seasons. ❤ I watched it straight through, twice! 🥰

God I love the character of “Jim” on this show. Everyone should watch the entire series if they haven’t already,

IMO The West Wing had the greatest writing in television history. Martin Sheen has the most fantastic laugh. I agree about the scene with Sheen and John Spencer in the hospital. I’d add the scene with Sheen and Bradley Whitford.

Really loved the Walton's, loved everyone on the show, just seemed so real. I grew up in the 50's & 60's, in the country. We weren't as poor as the Waltons, but we had a one room school, there were 50 to 60 kids in the school & we all got along, 20 or more of us played together after school, most of the rest of the kids were farm kids & had chores to do.

So I realize that I’m 4 years late in posting this comment, but I’m watching this again and I just got to the point in the video that Seth and James bring Hugh Panaro on, and the way he literally coos “hi Lukey” to Rebecca is The SWEETEST!!. Aw. I didn’t know of Rebecca for long at all before she passed away but I appreciated her Immensely Gorgeous voice right away.

I often wonder what the understudy situation was with the original Annie orphans. Now, the regulations are so strict, but there are never any pictures of understudies. The story about when there were only 4/5 available during a storm implies there were still none during the running of the show. When did that change? Nowadays, it seems 3 or 4 of each character is required - 2 in the theatre at any one time. How did they manage it back then?
